Delphi

👉 Delphi is a special level in the early Dungeons of Doom, serving as the home of the Oracle.

Location: Located between levels 5 and 7 of the Dungeons of Doom.

Delphi is a guaranteed level with a partially fixed central room, but otherwise randomly generated rooms and corridors.

ℹ️ Characteristics

• Layout: The level consists of standard randomly generated rooms and corridors, but it always features a large, central open room containing the Oracle's temple.
• The Temple: In the very center sits the Oracle, a peaceful NPC. She is surrounded by four distinct magical fountains (Healing, Magic, Water, and Mana). The temple room also contains statues of four centaurs and four elementals (Fire, Water, Earth, Air).

🔮 The Oracle's Services

You can pay the Oracle for consultations, which come in two forms:

• Minor Consultations: Costs 50 gold. The Oracle provides a piece of standard, generalized advice.
• Major Consultations: Costs 1,000 gold. The Oracle provides true, verified information about the game's mechanics or deep secrets.

Paying the Oracle is completely optional but can be useful for identifying items or learning obscure mechanics if you are playing without external guides.
