Mines' End

👉 Mines' End is the final, bottom-most level of the Gnomish Mines, housing significant treasure and the Gladstone.

Location: Located at the very bottom of the Gnomish Mines (level 8–9 of the branch, absolute depth 9–12).

Once you reach it, there are no stairs leading further down.

ℹ️ Characteristics

• Layout: Mines' End comes in exactly 3 different variants: the Wine Cellar, the Catacombs (also known as the Vampire level), and the Mimic level.
• Inhabitants: The level is heavily guarded by powerful monsters relative to the early game, including mind flayers, vampires, or large numbers of mimics depending on the variant.
• Traps: Often heavily trapped, particularly with polymorph traps.

💎 The Reward

The primary reason to venture to the bottom of the mines is The Gladstone, a unique artifact luckstone guaranteed to be found at the end of the level.
