👉 The Valkyrie Quest is a branch of the Quest specifically designed for the Valkyrie role.
🌍 Overview
The Quest branch for the Valkyrie consists of 5 or 6 levels. You must navigate through these levels to defeat your Nemesis and recover your role's quest artifact.
- Leader: The Norn (found on the Home level)
- Nemesis: Lord Surtur (found on the Goal level)
- Artifact: The Orb of Fate
- Common Enemies: fire ants and fire giants
🗺️ Level Structure
The Quest is divided into several specific levels:
1. Home Level
The starting point of the Quest. Here you will find The Norn and friendly Quest Guardians. You must receive permission from The Norn before proceeding deeper. The walls and floors are undiggable, and teleportation is restricted.
2. Upper Filler Level
An intermediate level filled with fire ants and fire giants and other monsters.
3. Locate Level
A specific midpoint level. Upon entering, you will receive messages indicating that you are getting closer to Lord Surtur.
4. Lower Filler Level(s)
One or two additional randomly generated levels before the final confrontation. (There is one lower filler level if the Quest is 5 levels deep, and two if it is 6 levels deep.)
5. Goal Level (Level 5 or 6)
The bottom-most level of the branch. Here you will face Lord Surtur. Upon defeating him, you can claim The Orb of Fate and the Bell of Opening.
