π A Leprechaun Hall is a special room completely filled with leprechauns and large amounts of gold.
βΉοΈ Description
A Leprechaun Hall is a dangerous but potentially rewarding special room. It is filled entirely with leprechauns who sit on top of large piles of gold. Because leprechauns have a teleportation attack that activates when they hit you or when you hit them, engaging them in melee can quickly scatter them across the level.
πΊοΈ Generation
Leprechaun Halls have a 1 in 8 chance of generating on eligible levels in the Dungeons of Doom, provided that leprechauns have not been genocided or made extinct.
When generated, the room will be packed with sleeping leprechauns, and each leprechaun will typically have a significant amount of gold beneath them.
π Strategy
- Gold Theft: Leprechauns will steal your gold and teleport away if they hit you. It is often wise to drop all your gold in a safe place (like a chest or a sack) outside the room before entering or waking them up.
- Ranged Combat: Since hitting a leprechaun in melee often causes it to teleport away, ranged attacks and spells are highly effective. You can stand in the doorway and shoot them as they approach.
- Looting: After dealing with the leprechauns, you will be rewarded with a massive amount of gold left behind on the floor.
