A shop is a specialized room filled with items for sale. A shopkeeper stands near the entrance, ensuring you pay for anything you take out of the room. Shops provide a reliable way to purchase much-needed equipment, identify unknown items through price testing, and sell your unwanted loot for gold.
🗺️ Generation
Shops are very common special rooms and can be generated randomly in the Dungeons of Doom. The game always tries to generate a shop first before other special rooms. They will only generate in rooms that have exactly one door and no stairs.
