A Zoo is a chaotic special room filled with many different types of monsters and a significant amount of gold. Opening the door to a zoo often results in a massive wake-up call, leading to a difficult battle if you are not prepared.

Zoos have a 1 in 7 chance of generating on eligible levels in the Dungeons of Doom. The room will be filled with a random assortment of monsters appropriate for the level's depth, all generated asleep. Every square in a zoo typically contains a pile of gold.
