I don't have the words… this reboot of an old classic is flawless. It's the best version of the old Moria from the 80s I've ever played, with tons of added goodies and mechanics. I only wish there was more! More levels and NPCs! More artifacts and items! But that's straight greed. This Nethack spinoff is a straight up masterpiece. 11/10, best mobile game of all time. 🔥🙌

Amazing adaptation of the OG granddaddy of roguelikes, the classic Nethack. But with an actual good control scheme for mobile and nice visuals and sound. Hands down the best "port" of nethack I've seen. Better than even Vulture on PC & gurr's mobile port. Accessibility features baked in like the npc at the entrance and streamlined HUD make it way more approachable for new players. A real upgrade for a game notorious for its complexity. Amazing work 10/10. I might actually finish a run now

I never was able to get into traditional roguelikes because of how arcane the controls can be, and how much meta-knowledge you're expected to learn with next to no QoL. Enter GnollHack - the team(?) behind this has built a fantastic UI that helps IMMENSELY with the learning curve of Nethack. It's amazing that GnollHack manages to make such a classic system so much more approachable, and without sacrificing any of the late-game challenge that veterans look for. Also, there's a full wiki! 10/10

Fantastic game. The interface is as good as it can be given the amazing flexibility. Currently playing as a tourist class that has to take pictures of enemies and let your animate luggage kill them and use your credit card to pick locks. 10/10.

Awesome game, 6/5! I like how immersive it is. I would love to see more races and classes in the future. And the possibility to learn all skills (from different classes) would also be awesome (if it's not already in the game, I'm not sure).

NetHack is the best video game of all time, and this is the best NetHack version I've ever played, so it's possible this is the best video game of all time.

This game is awesome. I have waited a long time for someone to take the old school nethack style game play and make it not so… antiquated. It's easy to look at, voice acted, and just in general an excellent game. I hope people learn from what they did right here, such as the many varying classes, including samurai (a personal favorite) and many more, or the unlimited variance and replayablilty. There is a lot to be learned from not only this style of game but how this was developed.

Incredible experience. The level of depth, artwork and overall gameplay is amazing. Great work! Suggestion: make navigation easier by moving the directional arrows down and to the left of the screen, or optionally dynamic so it's easier to move the character with one hand.

I've never experienced a game like this and I absolutely love it. No two runs will ever be the same, allowing for huge amounts of replayability. Probably the best mobile game I've ever played.

Fantastic Nethack tribute/remaster. I've only played Pathos in the past and reading the NH Wiki has left me wanting for some of the cut features. So happy to have found them here. A much more robust karmic system, and the animations and voice acting are a fun touch. This deserves to be on the top page of the app store. For it to be free is highly impressive and commendable. Thank you for your hard work. I look forward to following the development!

Excellent port of the old classic. Great work on modernising the app but keeping all of the old lore and functions. Graphics are great and new npcs and interactions are fun. Also the sounds and voicework have been done beautifully. One small piece of feedback would be a request to reduce the number of steps required to interact with bags (stashing and unstashing). Thx.

YES! I've Been looking for a good old dungeon crawling RPG roguelike, remind me of the old Nethack game I used to play a whole lot when I'm bored It feels like a remake to the old one. I'm super excited that I found this game in the app store I'm definitely not getting rid of this game no time soon. Everything about this Game is absolute amazing ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

an exceptional iteration on classic nethack with enough differences to shake up a veteran in a good way and enough quality of life to ease newcomers in. I love the built-in stats on items and, in general, am very impressed with the presentation of this classic game

if you like this game, you'll love it. Great replay, no ads. Just when I feel like I've figured it out, the game kills me. somewhere around 100 playthroughs now, this is one of the games I won't delete even if I don't play for a while.

This is hands down the best NetHack port for mobile devices. The visual assets, interface, and audio are fantastic. The controls are incredibly customizable and work well on small screen. It's obvious that a lot of thought and effort went into this. If you love classic roguelikes, you need to download this right now.

If you've ever played NetHack, you know how complex and challenging it can be. This version does an amazing job of modernizing it without losing any of that depth. The graphics, sounds, and UI are all great, making it much more accessible than the original ascii version. Controls are very well done for a touch screen. If you're a fan of roguelikes, this is a must play.
