Location: Accessible via a magic portal located 1 to 2 levels below Mine Town (between levels 4 and 6 of the Gnomish Mines, or absolute depth 5–9). The branch consists of 2 levels.

It features unique mechanics and dangerous futuristic enemies.

• Levels: Consists of two levels: the Quantum Tunnel (level 1) and the Quantum Core (level 2).
• Layout: The dungeon is highly structured and heavily utilizes circular motifs, contrasting sharply with the medieval fantasy setting of the rest of the game.
• Inhabitants: Populated by quantum mechanics and elder quantum mechanics. The Quantum Core can be exceedingly dangerous for low-level characters, because tentacled ones and elder tentacled ones can appear there.

The Large Circular Dungeon contains significant amounts of incredibly rare, high-tier loot. If you can survive the Quantum Core, you may find powerful wands (such as teleportation, cancellation, and disintegration), a cubic gate, and legendary spellbooks — including the spell of Sphere of annihilation, Black blade of disaster, and even the fabled spellbook of wish.
