Materials
Non-magical gauntlets can generate in a variety of materials. Gauntlets (base material: leather) and Spiked gauntlets (base material: iron) can also generate made of adamantium, mithril, or silver. Gauntlets made of silver deal a 1d20 bonus damage against silver-hating monsters.
Armor Quality
All gloves can be exceptional, elite, or celestial/primordial/infernal.
- Exceptional: -2 AC
- Elite: -4 AC, +1 MC
- Celestial/Primordial/Infernal: -6 AC, +2 MC, but can be used only by lawful/neutral/chaotic beings.
In bare-handed combat, the armor quality also multiplies the base damage of gauntlets:
- Exceptional: Double base damage
- Elite: Triple base damage
- Celestial/Primordial/Infernal: Quadruple base damage, but can be used only by lawful/neutral/chaotic beings.
Mythic Affixes
No gloves or gauntlets can ever be mythic.
