ℹ️ Note: A Tripe ration gives a gnoll 600 nutrition instead of the usual 200. Bone and leather items — and the corpses of animals — are familiar food to a gnoll, so eating them never prompts you to confirm that you want to taste something foul and unfamiliar. They still break the Vegetarian and Vegan conducts exactly as they do for any other race.
🧞 Yeenaghu's Favor
Yeenaghu, the Demon Lord of Gnolls, is always peaceful to a gnoll. Chat with him and he may grant you a single wish if any of the following is true:
- You are 😈 Chaotic and your alignment record is at least 14
- You are 😈 Chaotic or ☯️ Neutral and a luck-dependent roll succeeds (roughly 1 in 3)
- You are carrying the Howling Flail, which bypasses the alignment requirement entirely
Your first wish from Yeenaghu is always granted once one of those conditions is met. A further wish is possible but rarer each time: after n wishes the chance on a qualifying chat is 1 in 3·n (1 in 3 for the second wish, 1 in 6 for the third, and so on). If he is not pleased, he says so and departs without granting anything.
💡 Tip: The Howling Flail is the gnoll racial artifact gift, so a praying gnoll who receives it gains a reliable way to ask Yeenaghu for a wish regardless of alignment record or luck.
