Workshops can generate:

• Randomly: As a random subtype of the generic NPC room in the Dungeons of Doom starting from dungeon level 6.
• Fixed/Preset: On various levels in the Gnomish Mines, Mine Town levels, and Gehennom.

The Dwarven Geologist offers the following services to players:

• Commerce: Buy gems and stones from you.
• Identify Gems and Stones: Identify any unknown gems and stones in your inventory.
